Camera moves through the pinkish curtain; light curtain’s leaves traces shimmering iridescence in its view. Precisely as a mechanism of decomposing the mediums of vision, this iridescence marks the site where a surface begins to emerge, where a surface surfaces. Fluid transition between outside and inside, public and private. Virtual and Real.
AGATHA:
Ai think the most urgent surface is that surface of the skin, and thus of touching. This is how Ai should be done. Lodge Aiself on a stratum, experiment with the opportunities Ai offers find an advantageous place on Ai, find potential movements of deterritorialization, possible lines of flight, experience Ai, produce flow conjunctions here and there, try out continua of intensities segment by segment, have a small plot of new land at all times.

The second episode of V4ULT, running between December 2014 and March 2015, consists of three solo shows and one group show. Two time-based interventions, created in collaboration with other artists, will be inserted into each of the exhibitions. The interventions invite new interpretations, frictions and dialogue brought about by the momentary layering of practices.
